SJ Tech Museum

Zachy's class had a field trip to the Tech Museum today. It is a popular field trip for chaperones, but I was lucky enough to get to join him. This year the field trip was earlier in the school year and coincided with the San Jose Christmas in the Park celebration. With all of the road closures and detours involved with the celebration, the bus was a bit late arriving at the museum. We had time for a few pictures and then it was time to watch the IMAX movie while eating lunch.

After the movie, I took my group upstairs to have the computer draw their portrait. Unfortunately, the computer got stuck in a loop and even though the kids took their selfies, the computer wouldn't draw them. But, while we were waiting, Zachy had the computer next door spell his name for him.
Eventually we made it downstairs and met up with some more friends.
And played in the Innovations in Healthcare display.
A quick tour of the space exhibit and the science of earthquakes and there was just enough time left for a spin around the gift shop before climbing back on the bus for the ride home. What a fun day!
