For her first movie, Mady did a pretty good job, but she started wanting to leave about half way through the show. We managed to stay for the movie...and next summer we'll be a little bit older and maybe a little bit less squirmy.

Movie Date
We spent the morning at the Alameda Theater watching Penguins of Madagascar!
Mady was quite impressed with her first movie theater experience. She spotted Minions on the balcony. During the summer kids' movie series, the theater offers a special kid snack pack full of popcorn, a drink, and a little bag of candy. It didn't occur to me to get a snack pack for myself until I saw some other moms with their own. Now I know for next time!
Shortly after this picture, we saw our good friends Fiona and Seamus come in. What an unexpected surprise! After some shuffling of seats, everyone settled in to watch the movie.
