Pumpkin Patch

Today was pumpkin patch day! Last year we had so much fun at Smith Family Farms, that we decided to return. It was much too warm to wear costumes, so the boys decided to wear the masks they had made at school. Of course, it soon became too warm for masks too.

But it is never too warm for face painting!

We found a fun scarecrow on the way to the corn maze. And stopped to see the animals. This year, both boys had a lot of fun hand cracking corn kernels and then taking the cracked corn to feed the chickens and peacocks.

In an Ohlone hut. And finally, with the pumpkin haul! Sweaty heads and all.
