Epcot and the World

Today's adventure took us back to Epcot Center. If there was a ride there, we rode it! The boys enjoyed riding through the "golf ball", or Spaceship Earth, and Living with the Land. Journey into Imagination with Figment was a big hit, and they had fun working in the Imagination Lab after the ride too.

Epcot Center was introducing their new mascot, Duffy. Throughout the World Pavilion there were check in stations where you could decorate your own Duffy hand fan. Each country would stamp your Duffy with a stamp of Duffy wearing a hat from the country. China, Japan and Morocco also had ambassadors who would write your name in their language.

It took some last minute scrambling, but the boys got all 11 country stamps.

Alex dancing with some Italian ladies. Zachary enjoying the Japanese taiko drummers.

Getting ready for the raids in Norway, and drumming in Africa.

Goofy totems in Canada. Zachary finally met Princess Aurora.

The trains in Germany. We literally spent hours watching the trains. At the end of the day, the engineer posed with them.

Zachary rocked out with Howard Jones. With the Terra Cotta Warriors in China.

For lunch we stopped in Japan for teppanyaki. Alex and Zachary enjoyed watching the chefs cook right at the table. We sampled a variety of tasty treats from many of the countries. Unbelievably, we closed down the park!
