Alex also had his first taste of birthday cake. G-ma made ice cream cone cakes and Alex was very intent on digging the cake out of the cone. Eventually he did eat the cone too. I had a hard time getting any part of it away from him!

Happy Birthday
Our flight to Seattle was quite uneventful...the best kind don't you agree? We had an extra seat for Alex and he sat in it with his seatbelt on and had snacks. G-ma has a little rocking horse that Alex took to as if he had been riding his whole life. It was strange how he just knew to shift his weight and make the horse rock. He really enjoyed all the new toys at G-ma & G-pa's house.

Yea, Birthday pictures! Mae loves her rocking horse, too! Looks like it was a great party, and what a great idea of Alex's G-ma to make birthday cake cones! We miss you guys!
