So many cute snuggles this month.
Don't worry Zachary, she's not going to fall!

Bumbo Girl

Mady is trying out her new chair. I think she likes it.

But maybe she doesn't.

The next day she tried it out while playing checkers. When she was winning, it was her favorite chair.

But then she got a better look at the game board.

CCS Carnival

Today we spent some time at the school carnival. Alex and Zachary got some "face" painting, played carnival games, crafts, and played with balloons in the gym. They even found time for a game of chess.

Space Shuttle Endeavour

The Space Shuttle Endeavour was on route to the California Science Center and was scheduled for a Bay Area flyover. Alex and Zachary were both in school, but Mady and I headed to the beach in hopes of catching a glimpse of this amazing craft.

We had the perfect view! The planes flew right over us. How amazing to have the chance to see this in person.

Science!

Alex is taking an after school science class. Each week they have a take home project related to the week's topic. This week he brought home a bottle filled with silt, dirt, shells and rocks. His task was to fill it with water, shake it up and then observe how the different things settled. Here's the cute scientist at work.

Block Party

We were very surprised this morning to find out that the neighborhood block party was being held on our street! Since it was right outside our door, Alex and Zachary were able to hit the jumpy houses early before the crowds arrived.

 Mady was not impressed.

While the kids were jumping, we met a first grader from Alex's school. We didn't realize we had neighbors at school!

1st Day of Preschool

Zachary started preschool today! He was a little bit nervous, but was able to smile.

 he's ready to have a great day!
