Field Trip

Alex's class had a field trip to Chabot Theaterworks today. Sadly I wasn't able to join them, but Alex and his friend asked their teacher to send me a photo from the bus ride.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny delivered some tasty treats and fun items.

Mady likes to keep her basket on hand, even when playing with Alex.

We got a late start on dying our eggs, but that didn't make it any less fun. This was the first year that Mady really had a chance to participate. She tried to eat the egg and drink the dye.

Children's Fairyland

Today we met friends for a fun day at Children's Fairyland.
Right away Mady made a new friend. She didn't want to leave Snow White's garden.

Alex wanted to ride the carousel with Mady, but she isn't tall enough for this one.

It's not easy getting everyone together and smiling at the same time. And, the dragon's head didn't even make it in the picture at all.

Celebrating Children

Daddy's work holds a celebration in honor of the children. Even though Phil was out of town this week, Mady and I stopped by for some fun. Mady enjoyed the petting zoo and wanted to be sure to pet every animal.

 Mady toured a search and rescue boat.

We had some lunch and listened to Cowboy Jared and then it was time to go home and take a nap. Mady wasn't too excited about the nap part.
