Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween! We started the night at the shopping center for trick or treating store to store.

 Then we headed back to our neighborhood for some spooky and fun door to door.

 It rained a little, but that didn't slow us down!

Preschool Halloween

Zachary's preschool celebrated Halloween with a costume parade and lots of treats.

Fall Festival

It is time for the Fall Festival at Daddy's work. Alex and Zachary had lots of fun with the rides and carnival games.

Mady was having fun too, she liked all of the costumes and activity.

When the sun went down, it was time for the Haunted Ship. Zachary was excited for the adventure,

but Mady was a little bit worried.

There's no turning back now!

Success! We are safely off the Haunted Ship, and even got cupcakes!

Fishermen

This afternoon, Alex, Zachary and Daddy went to the fishing dock to catch some dinner. The tide was high and the wind was whipping.

Well, they didn't catch any fish for dinner, so they headed to the grocery. Zachary was definitely not happy about the lack of fresh caught fish.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Zachary's preschool met at the pumpkin patch today. Oddly, I don't have any pictures of pumpkins though. Alex was off from school today so he was able to join us for the fun. The pumpkin patch has many rides, slides, and fun activities in addition to picking out pumpkins.

Goblin Jamboree

It is time for the Goblin Jamboree at the Bay Area Discovery Museum! Alex, Zachary and Mady put on their costumes and got ready to have fun.

Practice, Practice

Alex has the fishing bug now! He has been practicing with a weight, trying to "catch" plastic fish.

Fleet Week

The Blue Angels are in town for Fleet Week and we decided to take the ferry into the City. The line for the ferry was very long, and the schedule was not very efficient. Multiple boats came to the dock to let passengers off and then left empty, or just passed the dock up and went to Oakland. Eventually we made it onto a ferry and headed towards the airshow.

We made it to the City in time to see the Blue Angels. And the show was spectacular as usual!

Getting home was not a fun experience. We were in line for the ferry for hours, before the ferry service put another boat in service. This was the scene on the way back to Alameda. By the time we made it home, we were definitely worn out!
